Risk assessments

Risk assessments

Risk assessments are very important as they form an integral part of your health and safety management plan. The aim of the risk assessment process is to evaluate hazards and then remove that hazard or minimize the level of its risk by adding control measures. By doing so a safer and healthier workplace can be achieved.

It is important to know if your risk assessment is complete and accurate. It is also essential to be sure that any changes in your situation have not introduced new hazards or changed hazards.

Our professionals are fully trained and capable in conducting risk assessments for a great variety of situations. Through a five-step process a suitable comprehensive risk assessment can be completed:

Step 1: Identifying potential hazards;
Step 2: Identifying who might be harmed by those hazards;
Step 3: Evaluating risk (severity and likelihood) and establishing suitable precautions;
Step 4: Implementing controls and recording of findings;
Step 5: Reviewing assessment and re-assessing if necessary.
